From Pressure to Purpose:  True fact, I didn’t set out to become a coach.  Coaching found me through life experiences, job transitions, and conversations that shaped my own journey.

My professional background began in Corporate America, Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Budget Management. Working in the corporate world taught me discipline, accountability, organization, and how to perform under pressure. I reported to an executive team which meant I had to communicate clearly, manage priorities, and had to be confident with the decisions I made.

I joined Toastmasters International to become better at giving presentations at work, but that idea quickly turned left–I was laid off.  I found myself having to redefine what came next.  I immersed myself further into Toastmasters, but this time with a focus on Leadership.   

I became a Toastmasters Area Director that lead four clubs and successful with creating a fifth. 

I sought a Career and Business Coach to help me get my own ducks-in-a-row.  I felt something was missing.  Through Coaching, I learned how to work through my biggest obstacle,  my self-confidence took a tank due to the layoff.

Passion & Side Hustle:  Photography was always my creative outlet and side hustle.  I had to figure out how to take the corporate discipline, organization, and leadership skills I had developed  and pivot them into something of my own… 

Entrepreneurship:  As a photographer, I’ve had the privilege of photographing people during some very personal moments in their lives. Weddings, Family,  and Headshots Sessions often became more than simply creating beautiful images.

People talked:
They talked about confidence.
They talked about body image.
They talked about dreams put on hold.
They talked about businesses that never launched.

I realized I wasn’t just listening to their stories; I was building trust and connection.  I heard some of the same questions and fears I had experienced during my own transition.

Those conversations made me realize that I wanted to do more than simply encourage people in the moment. I wanted to have these conversations with intention, purpose, and a process for creating solutions.

I became a Certified Life & Professional Coach
